Hey! So I had just learned today the forms on this website, such as the Contact Us Form and the Your First Impression Form were not working. I don’t know how long they haven’t been working for. It probably explains though why the church hasn’t gotten any emails from the forms on the website. Anyway, I fixed the problem. So go ahead and use the forms! Yay!

Hey Everyone!  Joshua here.  So first of all… Happy New Year!  Welcome to 2010! 

Alrighty then.  Well I have been doing some more work here on the website.  I am still working on getting the “Our Staff” page done…. I’m waiting for some of the staff to give me their picture and bio’s.  I have completed filling out the “Events Calendar” for January.  I am trying hard to get the sermons uploaded.  I’m having trouble with the plugin so maybe I need to come up with some temporary solution for now.  I’ll work on that!

So yeah, that’s just a little of what’s been going on here at Chadashchay.com.  There is still lots of work to do but I think at least the basics are up!    Ok then, good day everyone!

Hello to everyone! I just want to say Merry Christmas and I hope you all have a great time this holiday season!

 I would encourage everyone reading this to take some time and just think about all the ways that God has blessed you.  Christmas is a time where we celebrate the birth of Christ (though technically I think he was born sometime in April??).  God gave us His only Son!  How awesome is that!  Without that ever happening, most of us would not have the chance to have an awesome wonderful relationship with God.  I know that a lot of us (including me) can really get into this mode of thinking “I wonder what I’m gonna get for Christmas..” and we hardly think about the things that God has done for us or think of the things that God has given us.  So that’s all I want to say I guess, is just take some time to think of how God has blessed you.  And be thankful.  Really thank Him.

Also just want to mention quick, since the “Events Calendar” has nothing on it yet, that we are having a Christmas Eve service here at Lakeside on Christmas Eve at 5:00 p.m.  so come along and maybe even bring a friend!

And just a quick note from me about the website… I will be this week doing some more work (like adding the Staff pictures and bio’s) on the website, but I think I’m going to wait until next month to fill the “Events Calendar” and start uploading sermons.  It is just about the end of December and so I don’t know if it would be worth putting December’s calendar up.
